Yesterday’s June Nintendo Direct (June 21) was a feast. We’ve had five different Mario-related announcements, the Pikmin 4 demo, Star Ocean 1 and 2 remakes, and more. All in all, there’s a lot you might have missed, so here’s everything that was shown during the Nintendo Direct.
Nintendo Direct to announce Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, the hidden treasure of Zone Zero. The DLC consists of a Cyan mask coming this fall and an Indigo mask coming this winter. also, Mario + Rabbit Spark of Hope It also received a new DLC, The Last Spark, which was released immediately after the Nintendo Direct. A demo version of the game is now available.
If Pokemon cheers you up, you’ll be glad to know too Return of Detective PikachuThe sequel to the 2018 Nintendo DS game is coming to Switch on October 6th. Our electric mouse detective is also as talkative as ever, which you’ll be happy to know.

Or, if you’ve been itching to replay (or play!) the Metal Gear series, Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol. 1 It will be available on Switch on October 24th. The comprehensive collection will include six MGS games: Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Snake, and Snake’s Revenge. It’s a tall order, but we welcome it with open arms. Now, where is the second volume?
The real star of Nintendo’s face-to-face presentation was arguably Mario.He and his companions received five different bulletins, which did not include A new wave of “Mario Kart 8” luxury DLCeventually adding Wiggler, Kamek, and Petey Piranha to the roster of playable characters.
First, a A remake of the Super Mario role-playing game It has been announced and will land on Switch on October 20. Great graphics improvements, fresh music, and the return of familiar faces like Mallow and Geno!In addition, we also saw Announcement for Super Mario Bros. Marvel, a new 2D action game for the legendary plumber. Wonder arrives on November 17th.
Plus, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Wario all had their own moments at the Nintendo Direct. 3DS titles Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is getting a remake For Nintendo Switch, and princess peach Will launch her own new game in 2024. The title of Peach’s latest work has yet to be announced.
Last but not least the Mario-related announcement, there will be a brand new WarioWare game coming to the Switch. Wario Software: Move! Bringing Chaos Minigames to Switch on November 6th, offering four-player co-op and over 200 minigames to play. That’s for sure, this is definitely a game that will open up in couch co-op with friends.
Pikmin 4 Fans also enjoyed a feast. We’ve received a new Pikmin 4 trailer showing off the new glowing Pikmin and a demo of the game. Additionally, HD versions of Pikmin 1 and 2 are also available for players on the eShop!
That’s not all!We have more work to do, including Star Ocean: The Second Story RIt is the remake of “Star Ocean 2” and the sequel to the 2019 remake “Star Ocean: First Departure R”. This work will be available on Switch on November 2.
Batman fans will be able to experience Batman Arkham Trilogy releases on Nintendo Switch sometime in the fall, and vampire survivor – Xbox Game Pass’ hottest breakthrough of 2022 – coming to portable consoles on August 17th. It also comes with a free co-op update from the previous single player game!
We also got a glimpse at the unusual premise of the pigeon-centric rhythm battle royale titled ” brainstormerstarting October 31, players can compete to be the last bird standing. Penny’s Big Breakis a dynamic platformer from the team at Sonic Mania, coming in early 2024.
In addition to all the trailers and announcements, we also got a new glimpse sonic fest, Persona 5 Tactics, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbo, and only two farming sims!these used to be Pagliaand Fae Farm, both look very comfortable.where you can also dance Just Dance 2024 Soon, too.
Of all the announcements made during the June Nintendo Direct, what are you most excited about? I’m personally ecstatic about all the Mario games we’ll be able to play in the second half of 2023, but I’m excited to see Metal Gear Solid coming to Switch too!
