This will be the first time Nintendo has participated in the annual event held in Germany since 2019.
During the show, a number of Nintendo Switch games were showcased, including a town from Pokémon Sword and Shield, a demo of Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, Astral Chain and In-depth exploration of “The Witcher” 3, and then look at The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
Gameplay footage and additional information for Luigi’s Mansion 3 have been released, and we learned about Mario & Sonic’s 2D DLC at Tokyo 2020.
Nintendo of Europe also hosted the Nintendo Live: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – gamescom 2019 Invitational.
The company’s plans for gamescom 2023 are currently unclear, but Nintendo has plenty of time to reveal what’s in store.
Gamescom 2023 will run from August 23-27, with Opening Night Live returning the day before on Tuesday, August 22.
