X user gibbogame also suspects an announcement in September, as the Switch 2 is said to have already gone into mass production. At least that’s what he deduces from publications by Nintendo manufacturer Hosiden.
Mass production started
In the fiscal year 3/25, the company is expected to spend around two billion yen (around 12 million dollars) on production facilities and around 1 billion yen (just over 6 million dollars) on automation for its main customer in the entertainment sector. The main customer is most likely Nintendo.
However, a release is no longer planned for this year, as he suspects a release will be more likely in March 2025.
