The Nintendo Switch 2 might not appear any time soon. At least that’s what an interview with Doug Bowser, the head of Nintendo of America, suggests.
When asked about the next Nintendo Switch The Associated Press Bowser is said to have avoided it and instead referred to the current Switch. A strong line-up is planned for them.
There is nothing to be announced about a future console, after all, the switch is still a unique device. Bowser is confident that the current Switch will continue to perform well in the years to come.
But even if there is no Switch 2 in the near future, Nintendo may still be working on a kind of “Super Switch”, as an industry insider suspects.
