Anyone who has booked the expansion pack on Nintendo Switch Online now also regularly gets N64 classics at hand. A title from the F-Zero series is to be added this week.

Nintendo has now announced that Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack will be replenished this week. From March 11, retro fans with a penchant for futuristic racers will have reason to celebrate.

Background: From this day on Switch Online will be available in the more expensive subscription F-Zero X. This is a part of the long-running success series, originally released in 1998 for the N64.

In the futuristic racer you have to prove yourself against the competition with lightning-fast hovercars at top speed in order to win first place. On the Switch Online, the classic will also make use of additional features of the platform, which means you can look forward to split-screen and online multiplayer with friends.

The once popular F-Zero series has become quiet in recent years. The last part of the series appeared in 2003 under the name F-Zero GX for the GameCube; In this respect, retro fans should definitely be happy about the comeback of this classic on the switch. Before that, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask or Banjo-Kazooie had also become available there.
