Anyone who has subscribed to the more expensive level of the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack will have Fire Emblem, a real classic from the past, in a few days.
Do you have the more expensive Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership? Then you can look forward to the arrival of an absolute classic from days gone by in a few days! What is meant in this case is Fire Emblem from the old days of the Game Boy Advance, which will be available for download from June 22nd.
Also known as Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, the title is the first in the still-popular video game series to be released outside of Japan. It also debuted Lyn as the heroine, who you may also know as the Emblem of Blazing from Fire Emblem Engage.
Of course, the GBA classic also has the tactical combat and intriguing storytelling that has characterized the franchise for years. The nation of Lycia finds itself on the brink of war in the title, having previously lived in peace for decades. In the follow-up story, a tale of betrayal among noble houses unfolds, allies turn foes, and armies prepare for battle while a mysterious figure manipulates the empires in the background.
Protagonist Lyn is placed alongside Eliwood and Hector as the game progresses. You can train your comrades in the use of different weapons and classes so that they can use skills on the battlefield. The battles themselves are tactical and let you execute various strategies using different types of terrain and conditions.
