That went quickly: After last week, the next update is available on Switch Online and another Game Boy classic is now being honored there.
Just last week, Nintendo gave its Switch Online service a game update and made a real Game Boy classic available, Donkey Kong Land. Subscribers are now getting supplies directly, because a few days later the successor Donkey Kong Land 2 is now unexpectedly available via the online service.
Four days after the first part, the second title for the Game Boy follows. This was originally released in 1996 by Nintendo and Rare. Donkey Kong Country 2 drew inspiration from the 1995 SNES classic Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. You control Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong through 40 levels and have to free Donkey Kong from the clutches of Captain K. Rool. The plot is a more simplified version of the plot of Donkey Kong Country 2.
To coincide with the release of Donkey Kong Land 2 on Nintendo Switch, there is also a trailer that you can watch below.
