Pikmin 4 is back!
If there’s one franchise we’ve been missing for years, it’s obviously the Pikmin saga. But after shunning players for nearly 10 years, the franchise is finally back! She used the very first 2023 edition of the Nintendo Direct to get back into top form. You understand, Pikmin 4 announced its news, and not just a little bit.
first announced in 2015 Pikmin 4 is therefore back, and what we can say is that it has been exceptionally generous with information. In particular, we were entitled to a few minutes of gameplay that introduces us to the new heroine. She seems to be coming to replace the very famous Olimar, the hero of the license. This new character cavorts in colorful and particularly shimmering environments. Of course, she’s accompanied by these little colored creatures who are none other than Pikmin. If you’re not familiar with the saga, you know that these little characters will help our heroine to advance in her quest, for example by opening passages or facing different enemies.
But finally, Where the game surprises is the arrival of a brand new companion, a particularly cute dog: Oatchi. In addition to being adorable, the latter can move very heavy objects or be used as a mount.
Finally a release date
That’s not all ! In addition to this first gameplay video, Pikmin 4 has announced its release date… Yes, you read that right. While the game has been quiet for many years, it comes back with major news.
Pikmin 4 will therefore appear on Nintendo Switch soon enough, as the title is already expected for July 21, 2023. Only six short months to wait.
