Most critics thought it was a fun game full of Wii Sports nostalgia, but others thought it lacked variety and consisted of “a bit of junk.” That said, this seems like a multiplayer party game worth checking out, despite the fact that the servers weren’t in time for comment.
Similar to Wii Sports, the game includes a range of sports that let you jump right into the action using the Joy-Con controller. Including six sports including football, volleyball, bowling, tennis, badminton and fencing. You can even kick the ball in a soccer shootout with the Joy-Con and the leg strap accessory included in the physical version.
A seventh sport, golf, will join the game in the fall.
The game allows you to play 1v1, 2v2 or free against others in person or online. When bowling with others, players can bowl at the same time, so there is no need to wait for your turn. When you play random matches online, you can redeem the points you earn for in-game rewards like clothing, sports accessories, gear, and more in exchange for your avatar. The selection of projects will rotate weekly.
