With Nintendo Lab Nintendo Switch users could let their imaginations run wild with the Workshop and create their own creations. Nintendo wanted to take that same idea and take it a little further with its own video game that it just announced under the name of Game Builder Garage.
The title will be a kind of educational program in which any Nintendo Switch user can create your own games in a really easy way. Through very simple steps, children, adults or people of any age can take control and create whatever they want.
In the presentation video it is perfectly explained how the proposal works. You just have to connect some colorful creatures named Nodon to which particular orders will be assigned. To do this, you can choose from dozens of different ones, each with its own functions that will be used to move characters or create blocks on a stage, for example.
That is precisely where the imagination of each one is at the time of giving life to levels of platforms, kart races, battles between spaceships or whatever comes to mind to each one, In addition, all this is accompanied by tutorials to learn the basics and all the possibilities in a very fun way and with the press of a button you can go from the programming screen to the game screen to check the results.
Even so, if someone is not good at all, this part may download the creations of friends or anyone else in the world or examine how they have been programmed in order to get ideas. As for the controls, everything will be carried out using the Joy-Con, but the game will also be compatible with mice that connect to the USB port of the console.
Game Builder Garage will be released on Nintendo Switch on 11th of June through the eShop and will do so with a price of 29.99 dollars.
