Shiren the Wanderer: The Mysterious Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island
Better known as Mysterious dungeonseries Shiren the wanderer made a name for himself in the West through the ruthless application of villainous rules. Designed by Spike Chunsoft, The latest part of the saga is adorned with a 3D production without denying its origins. The title indeed shows the desire to appeal primarily to nostalgics and lovers of old-fashioned dungeon RPGs.
Like its predecessors, Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island wants to make us suffer as much as possible in order to redefine the codes of adventure with a capital A. Here Death means losing everything you have acquired and it is even possible to die of hunger if you don’t eat enough during dungeon expeditions. But the game is worth it because it involves a mysterious treasure buried at the heart of the randomly generated labyrinths. The new online features should allow players to benefit from new rescue operations even in the event of failure.
