Gaming News Nintendo: This NES turns into a robot, it’s useless but it’s awesome
The Nintendo is an absolutely legendary console and a true pillar of video games, no one will doubt that. Some choose to honor it by sublimating it… or by making it mortal. Literally.
No hint
The Nintendo, better known as the NES, is an iconic console whose form and aesthetic are largely ingrained in pop culture.. The item is derived everywhere… but have you ever seen it as a shredder battlebot?
However, this is the crazy challenge taken on by this particularly resourceful Aussie called Electrosync. The gentleman has a passion for old school hardware and video games and has decided to make a man one of his favorite objects by implanting a bladed weapon in him to get him to participate in robot battles!
A sharp result
So, armed with a 3D printer and solid knowledge of the field, Electrosync got their hands dirty and concocted a lengthy making-of video, which can be found in the YouTube player below. It features integrated casters, a full remote control system and most importantly… a fully functional circular saw that can slide out of the console.
The inventor also tested his baby in a protective box, just not to take any chances: The NES can then mercilessly slice and dice certain objects completelylike a watermelon or an aluminum can.
It remains to be seen if and when Electrosync will enter its very special Nintendo in championships of the genre, in which each participant must face another’s miniaturized robot. A fight that should be spectacular.
