As you know, the Nintendo Switch is gaining in popularity among human beings who love video games. Nintendo understood this well and decided by mutual agreement to increase production of its Switch favorite console by the end of fiscal year 2020-2021.
Nintendo has in fact asked its assembly plant partners to increase production of Nintendo Switch units to 30 million pieces for the current fiscal year, which will end on March 31, 2021, according to a report. bloomberg paper, citing people close to the file and the strategy of the company, as they say.
Bloomberg reminds us that Nintendo had already increased its production of its flagship console to 25 million units at the beginning of August in order to meet current demand, thanks in particular to the immense success of a certain Animal Crossing: New Horizons and forced containment by world authorities. But obviously, this increase will be there to cushion the next titles to come, which should once again delight the global videoludic community, always eager for new things.
Bloomberg also took the opportunity to affirm once again that Nintendo was indeed preparing to release a new improved model of Nintendo Switch and in particular asked the developers to make games in 4K resolution.
