To overthrow the castle, you need the help of some furry friends. Did I say it's furry? I mean 20 feet long, capable of pulling a tornado and sharper than the death metal logo. this is How to beat Kamaitachi in Nioh 2 And brought to you.
Although it will ultimately help you take the risk, Kamatachi is still Yokai, so it takes a lot of deadly attacks to ruin your day. Just like the god of the eight gods, this is the real problem of another endurance regeneration, because it can easily exhaust its evasion and blocking power without making Ki Pulse better.
You can visit hot springs near the starting shrine to boost energy, or pop up holy water.
Nioh 2 – How to Beat the Sickle
Here is my first success in a blind game in Nioh 2 showing the overall strategy. Since it is difficult to land sustained damage on Kamaitachi, this is a long time and there are a lot of thefts.
The battle with Kamaitachi was attrition. Only a few combos can safely close the distance between yourself and the beast to damage its health.
First, a punishable combo was when Kamaichi's foreleg and tail stabbed with a triple combo. Take a step back to get rid of the tail swipe, but then there will be a short window for your revenge.
Second, as Kamaitachi slides down and flies towards you from the air, you can block it with your primary weapon. Doing this will cause Kamaitachi to slide to the order next to you. Please take some effort when recovering.
Then there are two Burst Counters to punish. The first is when the beast climbs a tree. Block the first wave and then get ready for the second wave of rotation.
This attack does not always stop every time you climb a tree. If it's a normal spin attack, block the hit and follow up as if you were starting on the ground.
Burst counters on the ground are much more complicated. Although the red flashing was very noticeable, the actual attack did not last long. This is a very naughty design that can use the established triggers of such a game to trick you, but make sure not to prematurely.
Finally, if you are a ninjutsu user, there is a nice window to throw your tools to the sickle stand, and a tornado will be pulled when the stand is still.
Otherwise, you can use the primary weapon to stop most basic movements, including backflip shock waves and tail swings, but I usually sprint around the tail tornado.
When it enters the realm of Yokai, it is difficult to leave your stamina untouched. Here, use trees scattered around the arena to block shock waves as much as possible.
When it makes a glittering attack, it splits into three spins, and you can also stop it.
When Kamaitachi has about a third of his health left, you can end it with your Yokai Shift. Get in touch and launch as many attacks as you can, and you're smart.
