Did your Nioh 2 protagonist meet their opponent in Saito Yoshitatsu? Here's how to beat them in their own game.
Although it is difficult to confront enemies who can use all the same tools in battle, there are some dirty tricks you can use to calm down and make the battle extremely easy.
Nioh 2 – How to Beat Saito Jeddah
Here is a video of my first blindfold on Nioh 2 in which I floated the snot that was constantly loved in this battle. This task is one of the more difficult tasks in the grand plan of the game, but the final boss is available.
I secretly suspect that the boss will match your weapon settings for you, but this guide is based on Katana and Odachi they use.
Saito Yoshitatsu utilizes skills similar to player characters, and Yokai Shift, which has changed a lot from the pace of several past bosses (such as Yatsu-no-Kami and Kamaitachi).
In the Yokai realm, they can use different Yokai Shift depending on the weapon used. In the Yokai world, the brute force Yokai Shift's stress is hard to solve with the stamina regeneration penalty, but there are some ways to overcome your shortcomings in Ki Pulse games.
The tacky strategy of defeating Saito Yoshiman is to shoot them with a manual cannon-you should already be doing it now. Even if your stats aren't specified to m ake the most of the weapon, they can still do the job well. A bow or rifle is also possible, but you need to be more precise.
On the boss field, take a step back, look for space, and line up as soon as possible. Shooting the human body with a cannon is very fast, and it causes great damage to the boots.
Taking several shots in a row should keep them open and struggling, but headshots will make them fall completely. Once you take into account the free piercing factor of the grapple, your 5-8 needles should be able to handle at least 50-60% of Saito Yoshitatsu's health bar.
For the rest of the battle you will have to do it the old fashioned way, but you can still use your Yokai Shift to spam.
Fighting fair and just with Saito is a harder proposition. If they combine some more powerful attacks, it will quickly overwhelm you.
They switch between two attack modes and modes with different elements. In my experience, they use the Katana mode in the water, and the Dali they use is fire.
When using Odachi, they will enter Brute Yokai Shift in the Yokai realm, and Katana will trigger Phantom Yokai Shift.
When Saito uses ordinary melee combos to attack, it is best to lurk at the edge of its range and rush into counterattack after the combo is completed. Most of their basic combos are safe to punish, but you need to be aware of some attacks.
In Katana action devices, avoid when to put on your sword. They will perform Ia slashes with great range and damage. When they let go of the sword, sprint back or roll back as much as possible.
Second, when they raised their katana to the top of their heads and emitted blue light, two water shock waves came in. If you block these weapons, you will be harmed by the guard, so please dodge yourself to avoid harm.
Finally, for Katana, you can block the Guardian Spirit feature used by the sword, but stay away from any AoE puddles.
Similarly, you need to dodge any black-and-white blur attacks backwards because they are unstoppable.
As for Odachi, the mobile set is similar. Block or maneuver around basic melee combos, avoid elemental attacks, avoid AoE, and sprint at the end of the combo.
This applies to any other weapon they may use. Lurking out of range, slap them to the head, trim them off at the end of the combo, and then spam them with Yokai Shift.
Once defeated, they can drop a real soul core that can be used to add effects to other favorites.
