Nioh 2: PC version on Steam gets release date

date, Nioh, release, Steam, version

Nioh 2 has already been available for the PS4 for a few months, but whoever wanted to play the sequel on the PC had to be patient so far. The wait will soon be over!

Koei Tecmo and developer team NINJA announced the release date of Nioh 2 for the PC in a press release today. The new version of the dark fantasy action RPG should be available on the popular Steam platform at the beginning of next year.

The PC release will take place in the form of the so-called Complete Edition on February 5, 2021. In this implementation, PC fans will not only get the actual main game at hand, but also the three previously published DLC packages “The Tengu Student” “Darkness in the Capital” and “The First Samurai”.

Incidentally, since the release of the PS4 version, the game has of course been further optimized specifically for the PC. PC fans can look forward to 4K Ultra HD support, ultra widescreen compatibility, HDR and 144Hz monitor support, up to 120 fps on suitable systems and more. Mouse and keyboard are of course also supported in the revised control – in addition to the proven controller control.

In line with the announcement, there is also a new trailer that you can watch below. This will also show the unique Valve helmet for the first time, which will only be available to buyers of the PC version.

In February 2021, the Complete Edition of Nioh 2 will also be available for PC via Steam.
