We are very close to the release of Nioh 2 on PS5, it’s time to back up your saves.

Ninja team has launched a new update Neo 2 On PS4. The update mainly brings some bug fixes and some balance changes, but the biggest addition is the cross-save management function.

The remake of Nioh 2 will of course be released on PS5 on February 5th (Friday). The upgrade is free for game owners on PS4, but considering how PlayStation handles it, you need to manually upload an existing PS4 archive to use it on PS5.

This is why the Ninja team added this save management feature. It can be found under “System” on the title screen, and it’s just a push of a button. After completion, you need to download the save from the PS5 Remake when the PS5 Remake is released.

If you no longer have access to the PS4 console, you can still download the PS4 version of Nioh 2 on PS5 and perform the same operations there. As for the trophies, Team Ninja said that some of them will be automatically unlocked, and you need to make money again. It seems that the hardest person will transfer, at least, although the Ninja team has not specified.

Patch 1.24 is now available. On Friday, the first Nioh remake on PS5 and the PC version of Nioh2 will also be released. Sony’s game consoles support cross-play, but PCs do not.
