Nioh + Nioh 2: Both parts will also be released for PS5

Nioh, parts, PS5, released

Anyone who has avoided the two Nioh games so far, but would like to catch up on them, can also do so on the PS5. Both action games appear in an optimized form for Sony’s new console.

Only yesterday evening it became public that Team NINJA will finally bring the sequel Nioh 2 to the PC, but that’s not enough: Now they have announced the implementation of both the second and the first part for the new PlayStation 5 from Sony.

The two action games will be bundled in the form of the Nioh Collection but will also be available individually as Nioh Remastered – Complete Edition and Nioh 2 Remastered – Complete Edition. Just like the PC date, the release date for the PS5 is February 5, 2021.

Nioh Remastered will include the original game as well as the three additional items released. Nioh 2 Remastered brings you not only the main game, but also the published DLC packs. In addition, there will also be all sorts of technical improvements for the PS5 version.

On the PS5, 4K resolution is supported as well as up to 120 fps and extremely fast loading times. Saved games can also be transferred from the PS4 versions to the new console, so that those interested in upgrading will also get their money’s worth. Better still: If you own the PS4 version of Nioh 2, you will get the PS5 upgrade at no additional cost.

The final DLC for Nioh 2 called “The First Samurai” with the most challenging missions and opponents to date now also has a release date: December 17th, 2020.
