Many of you are currently still playing around in Dragon Age: The Veilguard and enjoying the extensive adventure. You should too, because new statements from Bioware now suggest that the story campaign of the main game will remain the same.
No DLC for The Veilguard sounds like bad news at first – but there is also some good news: Mass Effect 5 is finally taking shape!

Of course, Epler does not provide any details about the new part of the sci-fi saga that fans are eagerly awaiting. But he suggests that with Mass Effect 5 we will be like we were recently with The Veilguard can primarily look forward to a single-player experience

It’s funny because the games I play the most in my free time are actually multiplayer games. But when it comes to creating these worlds and designing the experiences, I love the focus you can have in single player.
A multiplayer mode in Mass Effect 5 is of course not off the table. But it sounds like we will primarily be offered a solo experience, as in its predecessors.
How long it will take until we fans get the first solid information about the new Mass Effect is anyone’s guess. The annual Game Awards in December are always known for spectacular reveals, but it’s doubtful whether Bioware has anything to show for the sci-fi role-playing game so soon after Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
So we should hope for the next N7 Day on November 7th, 2025.
