The latest Unmanned Deep Space update introduces new biological ships and new story missions.
Called the "Boat of Life" update, this is the latest content update Unmanned sky Also includes "Mysterious Space Encounter" and other NPCs.
The Ship of Life is a new type of affective interstellar spacecraft, and has dozens of program-generated variants. Each program has its own unique set of organic technologies, which can also be generated programmatically.
The new quest series "Starbirth" will "lead players through the ancient Corvax experiment", thus creating an interstellar ship.
You will also be exposed to new space objects and strange new life forms, and the NPC can now pay tribute to your communicators in space. Expect to sell new inventory or ask for help.
The update also includes some quality of life improvements, optimizations, and bug fixes.
Now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
No Man ’s Sky Update 2.3-Patch Notes
Live boat
- A new type of spaceship "live ship" was introduced.
- These ships have their own proprietary range of organic technology and cannot be upgraded in the usual way.
- Adjust the style of the game to accommodate the limitations and benefits of these natural technologies, or incubate and develop new program upgrades to develop your own custom boat.
task
- Incubate your Nether Egg and learn about the origins of live ships with the new quest chain Starbirth.
- After completing these tasks, Void Egg will hatch into the "boat of life" generated by your own program.
- More vessels can be hatched from eggs that subsequently hatch.
Space contact
- When using a pulse engine to fly between planets, it is possible to encounter strange objects in local space.
- Exit Pulse Flight to begin the encounter.
- Various exotic items and exotic rewards await …
- Depending on the characteristics of the solar system, different encounters have different opportunities.
Trading floor
- In addition to strange items, players may also encounter past merchant ships.
- These will cheer players while using Pulse Engine and may need help, provide transactions, and more.
Quality of Life
- If a player is in a group but the Nexus mission is not activated, then when they take off from a space anomaly, they can now choose to exit the system of any other player in the group directly.
- Fixed many issues that caused planetary maps and other scans to pick from narrow-range buildings. When using multiple charts, players should no longer be sent to the same building repeatedly.
- Fixed an issue that caused distress signals to occasionally lead to a crash site without a crash.
- Added an instant split button that allows players to quickly split an item pile in half.
- Players can now increase or decrease the stack by holding down the button without having to press it repeatedly.
- Fixed an issue that prevented Exocraft Summon Station from working properly when placed in a dock.
- Improved range of Exocraft Summon Station, so Exocraft can be summoned from anywhere in the system.
- The planets you discover no longer need to be scanned repeatedly to see their resources from space.
- Fixed an issue that caused the planet resource popup to flicker when moving towards the planet.
- Fixed an issue where it was difficult to enter the space station from a narrow angle.
- If stuck in other geometries, it allows the spacecraft to reverse during atmospheric flight.
- Now, if the ship lands, the auto launch system charger will work when the player is sitting in the cockpit.
- Improved VR swimming controls for VR devices using your fingertips.
- Greatly increased the distance that players can move the camera in photo mode.
