It’s impressive how much No Man’s Sky has blossomed after its rocky start. Shortly after the integration of PS VR2, another update will be released and it’s quite something.
When No Man’s Sky first came out, no one would have thought it would become such a long-running hit. But the game lives and trembles and is happily supplied with new content by Hello Games. No Man’s Sky was recently made available for PS VR2 and another update will be released later today.
The same brings, among other things, further improvements for PS VR2, but above all a range of new content for PC, Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
The update is dubbed the Interceptor, and with good reason, as it introduces an entirely new class of starships of the same name, which are said to be the game’s most versatile ships to date. These new ships utilize Sentinel technology and feature Anti-Gravity Well and Crimson Core capabilities. There are even new Sentinel multi-tools and a large Sentinel jetpack in the Interceptor update for No Man’s Sky.
The Interceptors can be found on special new worlds shrouded in a strange haze and containing strange crystals that corrupt entire planets and their inhabitants. Of course, you must first find out what is actually going on in these worlds and salvage what you can. However, you will also face new spider-like enemies there, as well as drones that will rake you with flamethrowers. Have fun with it, but it might be worth it.
