If you don’t have a paraglider from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdoms, don’t worry, you don’t need it: just use a horse!
The paraglider is quite possibly the most important item in Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Without it, traversal would be much harder, and one wrong step could result in death. Tears of Kingdoms ups the ante even further by adding a whole bunch of sky islands, and yes, there’s fall damage, so don’t think you can jump off and come out unscathed. The only problem is that you don’t get a paraglider until you actually land on the surface of Hyrule. Many people seem to miss it when they get there, turning Impa into a kidnapper. So what’s the solution? Horses, obviously.
I mentioned the fact that fall damage exists in the game, because falling from a very high place will either damage you a lot, or kill you outright if it’s high enough – obviously jumping off Sky Island will do the latter. But on the game’s subreddit, Baby-Worm reveals that there’s one thing that completely negates fall damage: you just have to be on a horse.
