If you like narrative adventures and sci-fi settings, you can reserve a new title with Nobody Wants to Die. In it you go on a murder hunt as a detective.
Critical Hit Games and PLAION today announced Nobody Wants to Die, a very promising new adventure title. The game relies on an interactive noir story with a sci-fi setting, taking you to a dystopian New York City. Dealing with themes such as immortality and the dangers of transhumanism, you take on the role of Detective James Karra, who investigates crime scenes in the world inspired by neo-noir films using time manipulation and advanced technology to unmask a murderer.
The setting lets you immerse yourself in the US metropolis in the year 2329 – a time in which immortality is also possible, but only at a certain price. After a near-death experience, the protagonist takes over a case from his boss that is not listed in the files. Only the young policewoman Sara Kai is at his side. Time reveals everything as they risk everything in pursuit of a murderer and uncover the dark secrets of the city’s elite.
Technically, the Polish development studio relies on the powerful Unreal Engine 5. This promises realistic and film-like graphics, which, together with a unique narrative, should draw you into the game and deliver a gripping experience.
Nobody Wants to Die is scheduled to be released in 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC. There is no specific release date yet.
