Nothing is launching a Plus model alongside its budget smartphone Phone (2a). We reveal how the two phones differ.
In March 2024, Nothing launched the Phone (2a), an affordable smartphone. A few months later, a Plus version followed. According to the manufacturer, it has made improvements in three areas in particular: performance, camera and design.
Performance
The Plus version uses a different processor than the Phone (2a). Instead of the Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Pro, Nothing uses the MediaTek 7350 Pro 5G. The Phone (2a) Plus is the first smartphone in the world with this processor.

Camera
The front camera has also been upgraded. It now has a resolution of 50 instead of 32 megapixels. Videos can now be recorded in 4K with the selfie camera, whereas the phone (2a) only supports Full HD recordings.
Design
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus features the iconic Glyph interface, but the manufacturer has given the entire phone a metallic look, which makes it stand out from the regular Phone (2a). The smartphone is available in two colors: metallic gray and a modern black.
