Warning: spoilers for The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone ahead.
You may not agree, but for me, the scariest thing in The Witcher 3 is Gaunter O’Dimm from the Hearts of Stone expansion pack. Sure, he’s much smaller than many of the monsters and enemies Geralt faces, but he’s hinted to be the most evil and powerful of all. Regardless, now there’s a mod that lets him wear swimming gear.
Yes, if you’ve ever been a little unnerved by the Mirror Master’s ability to stop time, cause shipwrecks in an instant, and recall the secrets to making perfect gingerbread, never mind, you can now give him some armbands to make him less scary. Or will it make him more scary? Honestly, I have a hard time deciding.

Without further ado, I now present the “Gaunter O’Dimm Pool Party Costume” by modder Dragoncat2129.
As they explain in a very concise and clear description (we assume they have a pool to jump in themselves), the fashionista left O’Dimm’s usual businessman attire in a locker and instead paired the swim trunks he wears as underwear with an orange armband, some flippers, and a rubber ring with a pretty watermelon design. Just watch the reveal video below to see it all.
For a quick background, this mod, which turns Glass Man into a man who can lay on a beach with a Porn Star Martini by his side, is an entry in CD Projekt’s current REDkit mod contest. Basically, people have until July 30 to create an alternate summer look for any character in the game. So, yes, technically, the actual studio that created The Witcher 3 is responsible for this one’s existence.
And I’m really sorry, other modders have obviously put a lot of effort into making custom dresses for Ciri and Yennefer, they’re going to have to compete with Deep O’Dimm, but depending on who’s judging, I think you may have already lost.
Regardless of who ultimately wins this contest, I think we can all agree that this is the most important Witcher 3 mod that REDkit has allowed to date, and I include mods that resurrect cut content and port over areas from older entries in the series.
