Nvidia throws a traditional British street party inside my world To commemorate the Platinum Jubilee.
Built by professional artist Ushio Tokura and his team, using 45 million individual blocks to complete it, the three designers spent 650 hours in two weeks to build the approximately 830,000-square-foot virtual area.
The world begins with guards and horses at Pall Mall, then enters Buckingham Palace and ends with a street party.
There are bunting, champagne, cake, sandwiches, pudding contests, and a game of pinning a tail on a corgi. At night, the palace is also lit up with lights and fireworks displays using Nvidia’s RTX technology.
Commissioned by Nvidia, the Street Party will give everyone a chance to visit London and take part in the Platinum Jubilee festivities. It’s a traditional British street party with all the decorations to celebrate Queen Elizabeth 2’s seventieth year on the throne.
Even street bands provide musical entertainment, and there will be multiple activities to enjoy.
Fireworks and light shows using real-time ray tracing will realistically illuminate the world and simulate the physical behavior of light, enabling reflections, shadows, and other natural light effects.
