As promising as NVIDIA's GeForce Now game streaming service has started, the problems seem to be increasing. Now the third well-known developer or publisher has jumped off.
NVIDIA has to face the next setback with GeForce Now, because now a third large company from the development sector with its games has initially disembarked. Activision Blizzard and Bethesda Softworks had previously had disagreements, both of which were withdrawn from GeForce Now in February. Now there are also 2K games.
In a post in the official forums, NVIDIA now confirmed that the games from 2K Games can no longer be played via GeForce Now until further notice. These include, for example, popular and current titles such as Borderlands 3, Civilization VI or NBA 2K20.
The statement also says that one hopes to be able to offer 2K games again in the future. This will initially remain the subject of negotiations with the publisher.
Via GeForce Now you can also play your purchased PC titles on Steam or Uplay via game streaming on other platforms, if they support it. You can also play current games on Android tablets or smartphones, the NVIDIA Shiled TV or portable shield devices from NVIDIA.
For the large companies, the withdrawals from the offer are likely to have to do with the desired agreements with NVIDIA. These often don't exist after the long beta test phases and NVIDIA has sometimes been criticized for offering games without prior consultation with developers.
