O’Shea Jackson Jr. is outraged that fans are racially hostile to Ingram and has a joking dig ready: “It probably kills them that James Earl Jones is Darth Vader.” The legendary black actor has been lending his impressive voice to Vader since 1977.
O’Shea Jackson Jr. continues: “They’re going to love it when they find out what my character does.” With this, the actor hints that his undisclosed character will play an important role in the upcoming episodes. But who is he playing?
With a mention of Obi-Wan’s Jedi friend, Quinlan Vos, in Episode 3, it’s entirely possible that O’Shea Jackson Jr. will play the fan favorite from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. At the very least, his tweet hints that he could play a role fans care about.
There were rumors beforehand that Quinlan Vos would appear in the series. At first, fans looked out for actor Kumail Nanjiani, who, as it turns out, plays a different role in “Obi-Wan Kenobi”. Even though Nanjiani didn’t appear as Quinlan, the mention of the name strongly suggests that he will appear in the upcoming episodes.
On June 8, 2022, the next episode of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” awaits us in Disney+’s New Arrivals program and provides answers. Fans can also look forward to more Star Wars releases following Obi-Wan Kenobi this year!
