One of the best ideas the Helldivers 2 community has had to help those who play solo or can’t communicate

The developers at Arrowhead Game Studios, behind Helldivers 2, have proven time and time again that they listen to their community. Just a few hours ago, they created a vote on Discord to find out our opinion on a requested feature. And for that reason, many players are constantly contributing new ideas.

“Something that would help solo players or when there is no one to help to know if it is aligned or not,” dice Nacostaart de Reddit sharing his idea. It has to do with the transmission towers, a key element in the missions. Completing his minigame means knowing the position of all the locations on the map. This is the first thing all helldivers must look for.

It's light years away from being a GOTY, but it has all the credentials to steal hundreds of hours from me. First steps in The First Descendant

The idea is to add a visual aid so that solo players or groups that can’t communicate can complete the mini-game while being assaulted by dozens of enemies. While there is an audio aid while you’re recalibrating the antenna, it’s impossible to hear it when there’s gunfire and explosions around. Not to mention for those with hearing problems.

The visual aid works like this: five colored lights on top of the antenna. All red means it’s misaligned, all yellow means it’s fully aligned, and mixed lights indicate alignment progress. The more yellow, the closer to success. The Reddit post has 9.1K likes, so Arrowhead must have seen it.

At iGamesNews | I’ve seen that the Automaton front of Helldivers 2 has become a problem: “nobody wants to touch our worlds”, and it’s for a good reason

At iGamesNews | I played the best game of Helldivers 2 of my life and it was all thanks to the bad times in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
