Add and follow the series of The Last of Us, which I have given us a memorable sixth episode. The HBO production has a brilliant direction, some Peter Pascal y Bella Ramsey absolutely stellar and promises to give much more in the remaining three episodes. We’ve even had a little sneak peek of the second season.
ATTENTION SPOILERS: from this point the plot of the sixth episode and that of the video games will be discussed openly.
Shortly after starting the chapter we can see a scene between Joel and Ellie camping out in the open, next to a cave. The two are around a bonfire, talking and fighting the cold with the warmth offered by Joel’s alcohol. Ellie asks what they will do after their trip is over, to which Ellie replies that she would like to have a ranch with sheep. The young woman, for her part, is committed to launching herself to the stars as astronaut Sally Ride.
promising dreams in a scene we never saw in video games. Neither in the 2013 original, nor in the 2014 remaster nor in the PS5 remake… or is it? If we go to the extras section of The Last of Us Part I, we can unlock a model like the one at the top of the news. It is a composition with Ellie and Joel laughing around a bonfire, but the origin of this presentation goes back much further.
If we take a look at the art book of The Last of Us, from the first game, shortly after opening it we have one of the first conceptual arts that was made of the work. Indeed, we are referring to the scene of Joel and Ellie around the bonfire, which arose as a result of Troy Baker and that Neil Druckmann shared a few years ago to congratulate him on Father’s Day. A detail that they wanted to recreate in the series and that they have taken care of to the maximum, unlike the mistake with the filming crew in a sequence.
