This highly anticipated film has been available in the Disney+ catalog in the rest of the world since last year and is now finally available in the French version!
French Disney+ subscribers can be amazed this weekend: Avatar: The Way of Water is finally available from us via the big-eared brand’s streaming service. The opportunity to see (again) this new visual blow from James Cameron, which will be released in cinemas in December 2022, 13 years after the first film.
Avatar 2 is finally available on French Disney+
On June 7, 2023, almost all Disney+ subscribers were able to enjoy the true blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water from the comfort of their own home. All, except, unfortunately, French subscribers, due to the chronology of the media on our soil. It wasn’t until almost a year later, more precisely yesterday, on May 17th, that the film was finally available.
The ideal opportunity to (re)discover the adventures of Jake Sully and his family. The weekend is suitable for watching, the film still lasts 3 hours and 12 minutes. The first “Avatar” was already a masterful visual blow back in 2009, but the sequel goes even further. James Cameron indeed spent a lot of money to impress us, especially thanks to the absolutely magnificent water panoramas. The action is not to be outdone, with truly epic scenes that, like the first, challenge man’s excessive use of technology against the natives of Pandora, more in tune with nature, in this case underwater.
With the standard packages with or without ads, you can enjoy it from your sofa on Disney+ in 1080p Full HD. To enjoy the experience even more, at least with the Premium plan you can best enjoy it if you have a compatible 4K screen. If you are a subscriber to the service and don’t know what to do this long weekend, this is a pretty good option.
