news culture One of the largest French YouTube channels disappears, netizens are outraged
The world of the Internet consists of its discoveries, its habits and, unfortunately, the discontinuation of popular websites and programs. Today it is a mythical chain that is giving way under the weight of a great machine and the announcement has caused the ire of netizens.
Golden Mustache becomes M6!?
By connecting to the Twitter account of the YouTube channel Golden Mustache, the regulars spotted a big change. The information was then retweeted by YouTuber Hugo Amizet and spread across the internet like wildfire. After years of good and faithful service, the famous Golden Mustache chain has just been completely rebranded in M6 colours. The problem with the change not happening is that the transformation was done under the nose and under the eyes of netizens and without prior communication. It is in complete discretion that the implementation took place since Saturday morning, it was still a Golden Mustache chain.
Damn M6 turning the Golden Mustache chain into “M6” with no pressure.
In this way, 3.5 million people have automatically subscribed to the M6 YouTube account. Too smart.
How are you @M6 @M6Group we bother you? pic.twitter.com/MOewma16sK

M6 in his right?
While some believe there’s no drama in the sense that Golden Mustache has always been part of the M6 group anyway, others have much more trouble bucking the transformation.
Messages of outrage piled up, others simply unsubscribed from the channel. So we can read for several hours:M6 destroys a community that is left over from re-shooting some comedy skits and series with the original actors. It’s a shame” or “M6, which converts the YouTube channel Golden Mustache with 3.5 million subscribers into its own channel without any pressure.” Others criticize that Golden Mustache and its subscribers have nothing to do with M6 programs: “How does the commitment of a YouTube channel to 3.5 million subscribers in 2 pictures. Not all Golden Mustache subscribers will be fans of M6’s Norbert and Stéphane Plazza.“If the chain is right, this shows for the umpteenth time that there is definitely a wide chasm between the seekers of creativity and originality and the clutches of large corporations seeking profit before they eventually come into conflict.” A tremendous shock wave is threatening both of these worlds.
