The fights in Amazon’s MMO Throne and Liberty: Beautiful, but stupid?
Throne and Liberty doesn’t really go down well on release day, but that’s nothing particularly unusual for MMOs with experienced and demanding fans. The fact that a Free2Play game that only appears on October 1st takes third place in the previous week’s bestsellers raises questions.
The answer is pretty simple: By purchasing a priced edition, those who are impatient get access to the game five days in advance. Not everyone seems happy with the purchase; at the time this article was published, the Steam ratings were only 67 percent approved from over 5,500 fan reviews.
That’s not a terribly bad value, the clear majority are supporting Throne of Liberty and are obviously having a lot of fun in the land of Solisium. Nevertheless, a few points of criticism can be read again and again.
