Few frills – long battery
Like the original 6310, the new edition is based on the tried and tested: a long-lasting battery and basic functions. The design has been adapted and the display, like the mobile phone itself, takes up a slightly larger area of 2.8 inches. The resolution is 320 x 240 pixels. Thanks to the progress and the thin batteries that go with it, the new edition is also much slimmer.
The new 6310 dispenses with 3G and 4G and thus leaves its focus clearly on the telephone function. Bluetooth 5.0, WLAN and A-GPS are on board for this. In addition to the well-known Snake, entertainment is provided by an integrated FM radio and an MP3 player, which requires an SD card, see above computerbase.de
The new edition of the classic also includes a 0.3 megapixel camera with LED with a flashlight feature. The battery should last almost 22 days in standby with two SIM cards, or be able to provide over 19 hours of talk time.
Target group for the new 6310
While the cell phone was more geared towards business customers when it was launched, the new edition is deliberately aimed at pragmatists who like to have physical buttons in their hands. In addition, the display can be enlarged for better readability. The original was installed as a car phone in the Mercedes S-Class from 1998 to 2006 and was the first mobile phone from Nokia with Bluetooth support.
When should the new 6310 appear?
The new edition of the mobile phone classic should be available from the beginning of August and cost exactly 63.10 dollars to match the name.
