Kai Cenat, one of Twitch’s fastest-rising and most popular streamers, added a large producer to his profile to draw attention to the demand for a Bloodborne remaster.
Ah, Bloodborne. Requests for a remaster/remake/PC port are arguably the “new Smash characters?” question PlayStation fans asked during Nintendo Directs, even though that’s increasingly unlikely to happen. That’s not to say the game isn’t playable, it’s backwards compatible on PS5, but for an action game with some tight hitboxes, a remaster with an improved framerate would certainly be welcome, while a PC port could open the game up to a whole world of mods. Yet, despite constant calls from fans, such a thing has never happened – heck, not even director Hidetaka Miyazaki is against it, even if it’s not in his hands.

Kai Cenat is a Twitch streamer you may have seen a lot recently, he’s the fifth most followed account on the site and has quite the personality. The streamer recently tried out Elden Ring, which has undoubtedly helped his platform grow recently, and in addition to pretending to blow up his house with Mr Beast, he completely renovated his streaming space in preparation for playing Bloodborne, all in an attempt to show Sony how many people want the remaster.

“I don’t think I have the ability to do that,” Sennett said in response to a fan’s question about a remake. “But! I definitely have the ability to get the Souls community to pay attention to a topic. I feel like the developers are watching my every move when I play these games. So I can at least try to move the story forward and make something happen.”
Cenat went on to speak directly to the people who could bring us a Bloodborne remaster, saying, “PlayStation, FromSoft, this is one of the most requested games for a remaster and a PC version. I haven’t even touched it yet. From the time I got into this community, I wanted to continue to say ‘Hey, can you do something?'”
Will this be enough to finally bring Sony down? Probably not, but we can hope, right? Maybe we need to start bribing them…
