With each new advance that Bandai Namco publishes of One Piece Odyssey, we are getting longer teeth and more eager to get hold of this RPG based on the popular anime and manga series by Eiichiro Oda. On this occasion the new seven minute gameplay that has come to light takes us to the kingdom of Alabasta, which we recently saw in another trailer.
This particular place will be created from the memories of the members of the Straw Hats. Throughout various scenes we can see how we can alternate between the different characters, who have their own abilities that will be essential to explore the stage.
As the main plot progresses, secondary stories will be unlocked, although a large part of the video focuses on teaching what the fighting will be like that will have to be fought, with very basic mechanics that we can find in any other RPG. However, in these battles you will have to keep in mind certain types that will grant advantages or disadvantages against certain enemies.
In addition, we can see that the same encounter will divide the protagonists into different areas of the battlefield, so each one will have to deal with their own enemies, unless ranged attacks are used to throw a cable to the companions. What will not be missing of course are the most iconic attacks of each of them.
the journey of One Piece Odyssey will start on January 13, 2023so in less than three months we will be able to accompany Luffy and company in this new adventure for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
