After Luffy lost his battle with Kaido, this enemy decided to lock him in a prison to be killed, but the good thing is that there is always a plan, because Luffy ended up meeting with Eustass Kid. According to Comicbook, n chapter 919, the characters they are seen in the prison camp of Udon making a food competition again to see who is the one who eats more.
Although Luffy and Kid are rivals in many ways, these are more similar than we thought, since when they are eating, it is clear that they are similar in several things, such as their appetite, competitiveness, and the desire to be the best in everything when they face each other. But that is not the most striking thing we could see in this chapter, because Luffy and Eustass Kid share the same body chemistry which allows them to modify their body to different sizes, in fact, when Dobon arrives to hurt another prisoner and annoys them, they both get the same wavelength to face the guard.
This was one of the coolest scenes, since you can see how similar Luffy and Kid really are, and also because of the way they work together to defend others.
