A year since its release, Arkand has yet to release additional content included in the game bite back version Its vampire killing game, Hongluo.
As Kotaku noticed, MIA was promised content in the game’s special edition, but there was no word on when it would be released.
The Bite Back Edition is priced at $100 (without Microsoft Game Pass) or $80 (with Microsoft Game Pass) and includes the base game, Redfall Hero Pass with two future heroes, Laser Beam multi-weapon skin, Tactical Knife Stake weapon attachment, Northern Expedition Devinder Outfit, Black-Eyed Jacob Outfit, Battle Suit Lyla Outfit, and Engineer Volunteer Remy Outfit.
With the exception of customers who ordered the Bite Back Edition and haven’t received anything other than the base game for their money, $100 or even $80 for a game that was released a year ago yesterday (May 2nd) That’s a huge number for content that hasn’t appeared yet. .
Of course, players who purchased the base game and have the Game Pass sub-game can purchase the Bite Back content separately for a discounted price of $27, but it won’t be available.
When Redfall releases in May 2023, things are a bit confusing. So much so that in our review, Jeremy Peele called it “a bloodless imitation of Arkane’s best work.” In the following months after release, three updates were released and significantly fixed the game.
However, that was back in November, and there’s been radio silence ever since regarding additional updates or the “Bite Back” content players can expect to drop.
Hopefully these haven’t been scrapped and instead Arkane Studios is keeping its plans under wraps or is working hard on it and will share the details with us soon.
