During the midnight launch event for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, one player thought he’d be able to find the game, but may have missed the connection instead.
Do you remember the man who got away? That thought that keeps you up at night, “Damn, I should have gone for it!” Well, one The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player sure does, as she’s currently looking for her in the game’s midnight release people you meet. In a post titled “Missed contact at Midnight Post at Gamestop in Southwest Illinois,” Reddit user ThatTOTK girl shared an adorable story of her encounter with another potential player during Midnight Post.
“I’m the blond girl who combs her hair like Zelda,” the post began. “You’re the one who showed me the Zelda-themed tattoo on his leg and we chatted about chatdogs and all that. I had a great time chatting with you and hope to chat more with you! If it was you, please give I leave a message and tell me your childhood Nintendog name lol.”
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, ThatTOTKGirl doesn’t seem to have quite found the connection she missed, though, as some commenters have pointed out, he may be avoiding the subreddit for fear of spoilers. Everyone in the comments is super sweet and thank goodness most of them want to find each other and share any updates.
