game news Only a few days left to get this 17/20 rated action co-op game for less than $5
In times of runaway inflation, it’s sometimes a good idea to shop around for some nice video games. That’s good, Steam offers one for less than five dollars and if you like the genre it could keep you entertained for hours!
Memories of E3
Today is June 9th, 2014 and the Xbox conference is in full swing. At this point, the assembly was just discovering Tom Clancy’s The Division, the new production from Ubisoft. For a little over 5 minutes, the audience takes part in a real visual demonstration. The action takes place in a New York in the wintry climate and begins in the depths of a subway where there are hundreds of objects as if life has been suspended. To find his way, the character has a whole array of holographic devices at his disposal and with his rifle, everything indicates that he is not in a safe area. The sets are absolutely stunning in detail and all the effects (volumetric, pyrotechnics, shadows, lights, etc.) are a real hit. Barely out of the subway, the avatar and his colleagues are ambushed and the scene lets you enjoy rich environments. A year later, the Snowdrop engine appears in a different light with a still very clean rendering and a demo lasting just over seven minutes. The not inconsiderable enthusiasm led to a universally cherished two-episode franchise. If we’re talking about it today, it’s because Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is less than 5 bullets away!
The Division 2, a tactical open world
Released in Spring 2019, The Division 2 is switching cities to set up shop in Washington. The player embodies a special agent of the Strategic Homeland Division (hence the title) and his goal is to bring order to a place plagued by factions operating in different territories. Just like the first installment, the action takes the form of solo or co-op play in a remarkably authentic open world. Despite the title’s post-apocalyptic atmosphere, players will enjoy some notable locations in the American capital: the White House, the Capitol, etc. It’s a fairly outdated piece of software enhanced with a DLC set in New York City plays. Like a good old homecoming. If you’ve never done it before, if you like the genre, it’s probably time to crack it. The game is offered on Steam for less than 5 dollars, but there are only a few days left to enjoy it. So don’t hesitate if you’re interested!
