Yesterday, the latest major order for Hellraiser 2 seemed to go in favor of Super-Earths, with only a few planets left holding out, but their liberation within reach. Unfortunately for the current target holdouts, Arrowhead is now offering people the option to explore planets with new biomes – and many of them have taken it.
To be fair, considering they’ve been so busy rescuing kids and reporting bugs lately, can you blame people for wanting to get away from the front lines for a while and enjoy some fresh scenery? Especially because – and this might be the trump card – you can fulfill your childhood dream of climbing a giant tree.

Yes, you heard me right, folks who land on Garcrux – a new planet with a jungle-style landscape that matches the vibe of the gear added in the last War Contract – find that you can be launched into the branches of the world’s iconic trees. How? Well, not by climbing in the traditional sense, but by choosing the right moment to jump on a freshly dropped pod as it opens.
This seems to be at least part of the reason why there are 7,000 Hellstalkers fighting on Garcrux at the time of writing, despite it not being part of MO. This might not be a problem if the rest of the fighting had only one planet left to defend, but it isn’t. After taking control of Estanu, Crimsica, and Hellmire, most of them are fighting to liberate Nivel 43, which puts Fori Prime in a bit of a sticky situation.
Nivel should be freed in time for the expiration of his orders in a little over a day, but that final planet looks like it will be a more evenly matched contest, especially if the Terminids step up their efforts and manage to push the situation back to a stalemate in short order.
Naturally, this has led to some people complaining about many of their peers vacationing on Garcrux, with some calling on Arrowhead to include new biomes like this into MO in the future so you don’t get into a situation where people are forced to choose between working hard and actually having fun with something new.
What do you think would be the ideal solution? How have you enjoyed diving on Garcrux so far? Let us know below!
