The satirical action comedy “Operation Fortune” follows MI6 spy Orson Fortune on what is arguably his most dangerous – and chaotic – mission to date. Will he and his team be able to save the world?

British filmmaker Guy Ritchie and actor Jason Statham team up again in Operation Fortune. In the action comedy, elite spy Orson Fortune is tasked with protecting the world from a deadly new weapon technology and is aided by a special team.

Operation Fortune: Storyline

MI6 spy Orson Fortune is apprised that billionaire arms dealer Greg Simmonds is preparing to commercialize a deadly new weapons technology. Fortune is given the task of preventing this from happening. For his mission, he puts together a colorful team, which includes Hollywood’s biggest movie star Danny Francesco. Together they do everything to protect the world from the upcoming threat.

Satirical action with a few question marks

While the plot of “Operation Fortune” doesn’t appear to be very well thought out at one point or another, the acting talent of Statham, Grant and Co. is quite convincing. The new action flick may not be Guy Ritchie’s best work, but it’s definitely worth seeing!
