Trailer for Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Ori at last! After the first game for the cuddly creature and its adventures in the forest of Nibel was a huge success, the successor Ori and the Will of the Wisps is ready to go: The platformer will be released on March 11, 2020. He is already leading the current top sellers on Steam, displacing titles such as Ark and Black Mesa.
Players obviously have a lot of trust in the game because there are no official or user reviews yet. However, there is also little reason to be skeptical – the first part did a lot right and was rated by us at the time with 88 points. Our community even gave one Average rating of 90 points.
What's new in Ori 2?
While the basic structure of the game remains untouched, developer Moon Studios dares to do some innovations for the second part.
- There are now side quests in the game world that Ori can do.
- On The autosave system replaces the manual checkpoint mechanism from the first part.
- The skill system is becoming more flexible, there are interchangeable shards that give Ori certain skills.
- The combat system is also new: Ori now has access to different weapons, including a gripping hook.

What you should know before release
Ori and the Will of the Wisps costs 29.99 euros on Steam. In addition to English, there is also German (along with 20 other) language support. Pre-installation is not possible, you can only pre-order the game so far. It is included in the Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox One as of release.
Developer Moon Studios will not remain idle even after the release: there are already first indications of their new action RPG.
