In fact, almost all of Wave 2’s circuits come from previous episodes such as Kalimari Desert (Mario Kart 64; N64) or Circuit Mario 3 (Super Mario Kart, SNES).
No more big pixel clusters that make old games so charming, all more detailed with much more depth. But good ? Maybe not for the fans of the first hour. For example, some regret a drop in difficulty between versions, sometimes removing obstacles that made the tracks more complicated to navigate.
Changes due to a new era where games are much easier to understand overall for various reasons. To see if the future circuits that would have leaked are more faithful considering the complaints.
