Now, one of the biggest creatives in the game runs one of the biggest developers.
Neil Druckmann has served as the director of games such as “The Last of Us” and “Uncharted 4”. He saw a major promotion and became a naughty dog Co-chairman.
Druckmann, who has been one of the studio’s main creative directors for many years, finds himself running the company with Evan Wells.
The announcement comes from Wells’ blog post, which outlines the action in the studio. Druckmann has been working in the studio since 2004 and was promoted to vice president of the company three years ago. He has directed “Our Last Moments”, “Uncharted 4” and “Our Last Moments 2”.
Elsewhere, Alison Mori and Christian Gyrling were promoted to fill the vacant vice presidential positions. Sen previously served as Director of Operations. Jilin (Gyrling) was promoted to the position of co-director of programming.
Wells added in the post: “Nowadays, Naughty Dog has such an incredible team, it is especially meaningful to be able to work side by side with each of them. When I can recognize their achievements and contributions to the studio At that time, I am proud of the team. Please join me in congratulating them all!”
Druckmann made it clear on Twitter that he will still be in charge of writing in the studio. However, he did hint that he wanted to cultivate new talents. He tweeted:

Although this is unlikely to affect consumers in a very meaningful way, it does ensure that Druckmann may stay with the company for the foreseeable future. For naughty dog lovers, this is undoubtedly welcome news.
