Worldslayer, the new expansion for the three-man co-op shooter Outriders, will be released on June 30th. In keeping with this, Square and People Can Fly will let you get your fill of fat again for free.
From the 30th there will be Outriders: Worldslayer, a new expansion with a fresh campaign and lots of endgame content for the shooter. There is still a demo of the game on Steam, but if you want to level up a little more beforehand and don’t yet own the shooter, you can get it on Steam starting today at 7 p.m.
From June 20 at 7 p.m. to June 23 at the same time, the PC version of Outriders can be played for free on Steam. At the same time, a sale will start, during which you can purchase Outriders with a 45 percent discount until July 7th. So in itself the perfect opportunity: try it out for three days for free, buy it if necessary, level up diligently and then really go all out with Worldslayer on June 30th.
If your computer doesn’t have enough power or you’re worried about the fans spinning up in the heat, there’s good news: the Steam version of Outriders is also playable via NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service GeForce NOW.
Outriders sends you to the planet Enoch, which was originally intended to be colonized, but is anything but paradise due to the increasing number of anomalies. With four classes and solo or together with up to three players, you face the enemy fauna, but also the hostile factions. The upcoming expansion Worldslayer expands the game with a new campaign, new mechanics for the endgame, new specializations for the classes and a lot of new loot.
