More than a year after its release, the shooter Outriders has still not brought any money to its developer People Can Fly.
Already last August we reported on missing payments to the Outriders developer People Can Fly. Nine months later, nothing seems to have changed in this situation. This emerges from a current financial report of the Warsaw-based studio.
Said payments by publisher Square Enix are subject to certain conditions. This includes, among other things, that the title has to recoup its costs for development and marketing to a certain extent. But that was still not the case. According to People Can Fly, it could even stay that way if Square Enix’s desired revenues are not achieved in the future.
Regardless of this situation, the Outriders chapter for People Can Fly will continue soon: On June 30th the extensive Worldslayer expansion for the Playstation, the Xbox and the PC will be released. It remains to be seen whether this will have a positive effect on the financial situation around the game.
