A little over a year ago, Square Enix released the RPG shooter Outriders, now there’s a big replenishment: With “Worldslayer”, a huge add-on has been confirmed.
Square Enix announced Outriders Worldslayer tonight. This is a major expansion to the April 1, 2021 released RPG shooter Outriders from People Can Fly, the studio behind Gears of War: Judgment.
The expansion is also set in the dark sci-fi universe and offers plenty of action for 1 to 3 players. You can create your Outrider from one of four classes and jump right into the original campaign before jumping into Worldslayer, or use a level 30 boost and jump right into the new Worldslayer campaign with a fully geared Outrider. In this one it takes you to the deadly planet Enoch.

There, in humanity’s final struggle for survival, you must defend yourself against Ereshkigal, the deadliest Altered in the game universe to date. In this respect, the add-on delivers the ultimate endgame experience to date in the ancient ruins of Tarya Gratar. The action-packed shooter gameplay with superhuman powers and customizable weapons and armor sets will of course remain, but there will also be almost 100 new legendary items.
In addition to new campaign, story and items, there are also higher gear level caps, new possibilities with the new Pax skill tree and more in the add-on. The release is scheduled for June 30, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. Base game owners must purchase the Worldslayer digital upgrade to get started.
With Worldslayer, the co-op shooter Outriders gets an extensive expansion with a new campaign, new loot and endgame mechanics.
