The release of the shooter Outriders from Square Enix is still a long time coming. The most recently communicated release in February of this year cannot be adhered to either.
Developer People Can Fly and publisher Square Enix are still involved in the shooter Outriders. As the companies have now confirmed, the release date in February of this year will also not be able to be met.
Actually, the game should have been on the market from February 2, 2021, but the renewed postponement of the date has now been announced via Twitter. People Can Fly gives the reason that they want to use the additional time to fine-tune the title.
After all, a new release date was named in this context: The release is delayed by around two months and should now take place on April 1, 2021. But it wasn’t all bad news: As a replacement for the recent postponement, there should be at least a playable demo in February. This will be available from February 25th.
In the playable trial version you should be able to watch the first hours of the full version in advance. All four character classes can be tried out, as well as the single player and co-op game modes. All progress made in the demo can later be transferred to the full version, so that you don’t have to start all over again when purchasing.
