Overwatch 2 players are now being attacked more than usual, thanks to fort infinite shoot their ultimate until their ultimate timer runs out. While you can usually only use it 3 times before being kicked out, this glitch allows known bastion trunks to unload one shot after another for up to 8 seconds – enough to clear a target or kill most A team of people.
What’s worse is that it’s easy to reproduce. To shoot, you can use one of the two inputs. The trick is to use the left/right trigger on the first two shots, then press both inputs simultaneously on each subsequent shot. On PC, this means using the left key and Q at the same time, although some people have rebind the left key input to a different key to make the bug easier to reproduce.
result? For a typical sub-par Overwatch hero, an otherwise unremarkable ultimate is currently wreaking havoc online. Regardless of your hero or your role, a steady stream of high-damage cannonballs is enough to take out anyone, and while 8 seconds may not sound like much, it’s more than enough to pierce through the vast majority of enemy teams.
You can now see the reactions of numerous players on social media and Overwatch 2 online platforms as people scramble to overcome this newfound problem. Overwatch anchor Seagull is one such example, because they Desperately trying to escape from the bright red wave of the impending explosion. Although, it also allows Lucio players show off their moving skills.
As for whether it will be fixed soon, the official has officially confirmed Overwatch 2 Twitter Account (Server stability fixes have previously been released). So it looks like we’re going to have to deal with it for the foreseeable future.
